My name is Maren and I am the host of this podcast - we are so glad you are here! Growing up my mother told me she didn’t care what I chose to do, so long as I was a contributing member of society. After eight years serving as an active duty officer in the United States Army, I found myself struggling with how to choose my next career. What did it mean to be a contributing member of society outside of wearing a uniform? That transition inspired this podcast. We talk to people from all walks of life, backgrounds, careers, and experiences to learn what contributing to the whole means to them - and us.
